WhaT to expect
We all lead accelerated lives but for these four days we will step out of time and come together to celebrate creativity and feed our bodies and our souls Please join us for an exciting workshop where we will immerse ourselves in the joy of art making collage and community We will gather on Thursday at 6pm to get to know one another and enjoy a delicious dinner by the pool Friday we will beour day with demonstrations of different methods of gluing ways to build a story and a surface tips on design ways to unify your work with aging and paint methods how to let your instincts guide your art how to incorporate your photos in mixed media and much more The feeling you will experience in this workshop is one of freedom play exploration and fun which makes this clperfect for seasoned artists as well as beginners We will alter your found images with a combination of drawing painting sewing and more

WhaT we will supply
At the workshop each artist will be given a wood shape that with be collaged and she will become your Wild Woman Memory Keeper (as shown in picture on top right) Youll receive an email about special items you might want to bring to adorn your memory keeper Upon signing up you will be added to our group Tribe Wild Women Talking Stickan online community to stay connected and creativity and insionbasically to be cheerleaders for one another In addition to your wooden memory keeper we will supply canvasette paper in various sizes (a great surface to work on) samples of collage for insion a sewing machine extra glues and paints some brushes scissors some found papers and images and a special box of pieces and parts that Lynn and eLayne have collected to We will also provide dinner Thursday and Saay nightlunch on Friday and have healthy snacks tea and water

WhaT you will need to bring
Your stash of great collage stuff such as photocopies of old or new photographs (Lynn likes to copy things on heavier paper laser copies dont bleed and you can make them at Kinkos) journal or book pages maps kids drawings ss of interesting fabrics old letters rubber stamps cool bits and pieces and that box of stuff you have been saving for your next project Please bring your basic collage tool kit your favorite art supplies like scissors paint brushes pencils a small bottle of Liquitex Gloss Medium your stamps and stamp pads and a few tubes of your favorite tubes of acrylic paint Also bring your sense of humor and adventure and wear something you dont mind getting messy

Well have four days filled with tons and tons of one on one attention and lots of laughter discovery and creativity We have found this clyields lots of complete finished collages as well as exciting breakthrough and ah ha moments We will finish each day with a positive feedback session and the sharing of our new works In addition to going home totally inspired and renewed with several collage pieces brand new skills and lots of new friends well be taking home our Wild Women Memory Keepera very personal piece of art to help us remember what feeds our soul and puts a smile on our face She reminds us of our hearts desires and of our special time togetherand we will stay connected and support each other on our page
